At 18-8, when clients arrive, they are greeted by the salon coordinator who offers the guest a drink and informs the stylist and/or cosmetologist that the guest has arrived. The guest is then guided to the stylist's booth for hair services or to private or semi private rooms for grooming services. After the styling or grooming service is provided, a prescription is written along with the receipt. The guest is escorted to the salon coordinator who makes sure that all appropriate information regarding the client's needs and contact information have been captured in the database and reminds the client when the next appointment should take place. At 18-8, Men's Hair and Grooming Centres, a stylist/consultant is always with our guest, from the moment he is greeted to the time of his departure.

I have been going to 18|8 for years now and it as always been great.
Sometimes it is ok to feel "girly". If the girls get the pampered fun, why cant we. Knowing other metro guys in there makes me feel safe and can relax in the testasterone world out in OC. Thanks girls for making me feel like a man..... a proud, sensitive man that has clean cut fingernails, flushed skin and a precesion prescription is written on how to take care of my body. Ryan Seacrest has nothing on your clients. Thanks 18-8!
I have been going to 18/8 for about 1 year now, and i have to say the services is top notch. The whole staff if friendly and always greet your with a smile. The girl i see is kasha and she is very friendly. She cut my hair just the way i want it and does a perfect job each time. I have gone to alot of differant places, but now i am here to stay.
18/8 in Costa Mesa is the best and most consistant hair cut I have ever gotten. I have paid a lot more for a lot less! First off, when you walk in the ladies at the front always remember your name and are the most cheerful folks anywhere. Sal is old school and trims your neck and side burns with a straight razor. Best thing is he cuts my hair the same everytime. This is not your run of the mill Barber Shop, if you like to feel good about doing something for yourself I highly suggest giving these folks a try!

I have been to several salons over the course of the last few years, and have finally found the best one in Orange County. 18/8 is the best, with refreshments served from the moment you walk in, and the best and probably loveliest stylist in Orange County (Yelena) and likely the most talented. She is courteous, refreshingly polite, and the very best hair stylist I have ever had cut my hair. Be sure to ask for Yelena to cut your hair. It will be a great experience and you'll probably find yourself like me, continuing to go back every few weeks for your regular superior cuts.

Fantastic, superior, excellent....may I go on? Yelena is indeed the very best hair stylist I've ever had cut my hair. No one out there knows me, but I am VERY particular about my hair. Part of my job is the requirement to look neat and tidy and groomed, and it is imperative that I keep up this image. Yelena has consistently been tremendous. I would never go anywhere else or to anyone else for a haircut. Be sure to schedule your next cut with Yelena, and I promise you, you will be completely satisfied.

Let me just say that this is one of the most impressive men's grooming salons I've ever visited. The service is absolutely amazing and flawless. I honestly did not want to leave after I saw my stylist. Not only was she drop-dead gorgeous, but she was quite possibly the best damn hair-stylist I've ever met. I received countless compliments from my friends and business associates on my new look and I highly recommend you visit Studio 18-8. Just make sure you request Yelena when you go there, you will be glad you did.
I'm forever addicted to the quality experience at 18-8 in Costa Mesa. Yelena gives such an excellent haircut it's difficult to imagine going to anyone else, but even better is that she makes you feel pampered too. Her friendly and cheerful demeanor make for great company after a long work day. OK, I'm recommending that YOU make an appointment with her too.
I have patronized 18/8 for about a year now. All the staff are very friendly, and make you feel welcome the minute you walk in. The place is very clean, and has positive energy and vibes. Sal knows how i like to have my hair cut, and he always does a great job. He is very thorough and focused on doing his best every time. And the price is very reasonable, a lot less than what i used to pay in Santa Monica.

18/8 in Costa Mesa is the only place to get you hair cut in Orange County! Everyone who works there is amazingly friendly and energetic. I have been getting my hair cut there for 4 years now and have been completely satisfied with every hair cut. So check this place out!
I have been a very happy client of 18/8 Hair Salon. When the company hired Yelena Wood, the value of the company in my opinion skyrocketed. Yelena is an extremely talented, beautiful hair stylist that is very focused on making sure each client receives the hairstyle they came in for. With a smile and very happy, positive personality, it is always a pleasure to come in for my regular hair cuts. I will never go anywhere else to have my hair cut unless Yelena leaves 18/8. Then, I would have no choice but to follow her wherever she cut hair. She is simply the best stylist I have ever met in my 30 years of having my hair cut.

For the past seven years, i've been going to 18/8 for my grooming needs. With a professional yet friendly atmoshpere, their service is always up to snuff, and indeed my personal stylist, Kasha, has been a spot of brightness in my life. Her performance is always top-quality, enough to prompt my following her from her transition from the Irvine location to the Costa Mesa location. I reccomend 18/8 as the definitive men's grooming center.
