I have been a customer, student and friend for 12 years. When I go to Los Angeles I never miss the opportunity to visit and shop at Panpipes! When it comes to the Occult sciences their knowledge, their selections of base or custom blended oils and incense, to herbs and literature are unsurpassed. Their respect of all traditions and friendly staff has always made my experience there incredible. Thank you.
In addition to Jymie and her entire staff being knowledgeable and gifted in their craft, they are a wonderful bunch of people who gives back and is always willing to lend a hand. Awesome bunch of people!!
The owners of panpipes are great women who know how to explain the occult to those that are interested. Jymie is a gulf war vet and should have the support from her community. Panpipes is a wonderful shop and very knowledgeable. Respect and support your vet! Support Jymie!
Owners are wonderful, quite knowledgeable about all aspects of the occult, and give back MUCH to the community. It is also a small Mom & Pop type store that needs community support to sustain itself. Also one of the owners is a veteran of he Gulf War. Support your Vets!
the owners posess a wealth of knowledge, but aren't snobby about it- it really pleases me to know that I'm able to walk in with questions about books or magickal items that I may feel insecure asking about- and they will always answer thoroughly and with complete understanding that I'm at a beginner level- I always leave a little more educated and with a longer list of items to buy! (because I get so excited to try everything!)
It's always a pleasure to shop at Panpipes. Even if I go in there to just to browse, I end up leaving with something fabulous. Jymie is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk with. I've even heard other repeat customers come in there simply to thank Jymie for numerous things. I could go on and on. (-:
Friendly services to all!!! Great jewelry, hair accessories for the normies!!! For those of us who might be a little obscure, Panpipes has beautiful crystal balls, oils, candles, books on spell craft and divinity! Not too mention amazing and uncanny tarot readings by Jymie on the extremely rare occasion she's reading. Ooh... bone chillingly accurate! Everything is reasonably priced. Also, the staff is wonderfully helpful compassionate and WILL NOT sell you anything you don't need. Great place to get gifts for all ages! They even have some items for children!

Jymie and Vickie are both extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have come to them year after year for the best prices on oils, herbs and incenses. They are both very talented when it comes to formulating custom blends. Their prices are always reasonable. And if I need a special herb or incense and it's not on hand, I know I can always rely on them to find it and order it for me. I like to make special perfumes for my friends as gifts and their versatility makes one-of-a-kind gift giving a pleasure.
I reconmended this joint to be on the hotlist since the first time the hotlist started. Great service, knowledgable staff, everything you need for your workings. Great gifts for even the pickiest of people. Quit with the politics and give Panpipes the credit they deserve, their is a reason why they have been around so long.

Panpipes is not your typical cookie cutter "metaphysical" or "spiritual" shop. You won't find the latest in foo-foo, pseudo- occult products. You will, however, find bona-fide magick and more! This store is the last of the old time occult shops around. From the extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff, to having some great and unusual gifts, this store is the best of it's kind. Panpipes also offers some of the best classes and rituals. I go there on a fairly regular basis and will continue.
The website is fully up and running and constantly expanding with new areas constantly. Nice using MY name as your screen name. It's a political attack by a small minded individual who doesn't like one of the owners stance on public healthcare. Pathetic.

Nice people, nice selection. The best shop in LA for all things spell related as well as a great place to get gifts. Watch out for parking sometimes though!
