Relaxing atmosphere with great food and beverages. They make you feel like family.

I would not recomend this place to anyone. We made reservations and arrived on time. We were made to wait along with several other couples while the restuarant decided to seat some high school prom kids the second they walked throught the door. The staff was neither helpful or caring and we, like several other customers, ended up leaving after a 30 minute wait. We did not even get an estimated time for a table after a half hour. Don't bother making a reservation since this place does not honor them. I suspect they will be out of business in a few months.
I love the food. I've gone there twice within the last two weeks and have been going on my birthday for the past few years now. The service is top notch and the prices are reasonable.

Canyon Steakhouse is a local gem. I am normally a petit filet kinda girl, but I have never tasted a more perfect cut of meat than Canyon's special ribeye - to die for! I am also a huge fan of the caprese appetizer, and the killer selection of red wines never disappoints. I don't know what the deal was with that service complaint that's posted, but I have always found the service at Canyon to be impeccable. Whenever I see the owner at the restaurant he is always happy to see me and makes me feel like a special guest. Love this place!!
Sorry to put a damper on these previous reviews but 10 of us had a bad experience last Saturday August 23rd, 2008 at 6:30 PM. The food was served one hour and 23 minutes after we ordered and one meal went back twice because it was cold, a second one was over cooked and a third was under cooked. When we politely asked the manager, who din't give his name and only showed up at our table when we inseisted on speaking to him, that "it was none of our business" , when we asked what the problem was for the extremely slow service. This manager should be replaced with one that cares about good customer service!

Great food, Great location. Take time to enjoy the quaint shopping center and businesses surronding this supurb Steakhouse.
Had the Porter house with garlic mashed potatoes. "Delicious!" Unique drink menu however I opted for a Merlot. The decor is simple but warm. The service was great the waiter was attentive and recommended that we come back for their brunch. I will definitely be back!

Its great to have a restaurant that actually tosses their own salad, and make their own soups and desserts. But Canyon Steakhouse also has great steaks, my personal favorite is the ribeye. Its the best choice if your looking for the biggest and best tasting steak on the menu. If your not in the mood for a steak they have a great Chicken Asparagus Risotto.
