In 1952, Jack and Mickey Kopol founded Kopol & Kopol, a general merchandise company dedicated to wholesaling quality merchandise at the lowest possible prices. After many successful years in business, they left Chicago to retire in Encinitas, California, a northern suburb of San Diego. But long-time friends and satisfied clients continued to call with requests for products. Jack and Mickey came out of retirement and went back into business, this time specializing in watches. Brand new, brand name watches. And to reflect the nature of their new business, they changed Kopol & Kopol to About Time. Today, visitors at our store as well as calls and e-mails pour in from all over the world. Customers quickly become friends, thanks to the personal, knowledgeable service of the About Time? staff. They ship nearly every watch brand at every price point across the country and around the globe. And no matter how many watches they ship, the only things they count are the letters from grateful customers.
