ArcLight's Cinerama Dome (a unique, geodesic shaped theatre originally built in 1963) has been upgraded acoustically and the finest industry projection and sound systems have been installed. The seats and aisle spacing are wider, while still respecting the orginal "look and feel," seating layout, and huge, curved screen. (See The Dome below for more details.)
State of the art movie experience with the highest professionalism.
It has spoiled me. I get annoyed when I have to see movies anywhere else
While the Egyptian and Aero Theatres are close runners up, no theatre beats the Arclight. The best place to see a film hands down. Showing everthing from blockbusters to very new independents where you are the only audience member in the room and there is a Q&A afterward! Always, always, always a great experience. And, they have a bar in-house so you can grab a drink before or after and discuss what it was you just saw. So excellent, I think I'm dreaming.
This place has everything you want and need under one dome.
Love the Cinerama Dome. It's a fabulous place for an action adventure film. They did a great job with the expansion. This area is now a destination and a fun place to hang. I love the artwork, photographs and artists work on exhibit at the second floor lobby.
My favorite place to see a movie and the best place to see movies as the were meant to be seen.
