This is hands down the best Thai restaurant in the IE, if not Southern CA. The place is true to its orgins, and the chef/owner comes out and talks to everyone who dines there.
My favorite dishes are the Satay, either beef or chicken. Chu Chee Salmon is really good and has just enough spice in the red curry sauce to make it especially good.
Seafood hotplate is very good it is rare to find someone who can cook calamari right. Bangkok Blue does it to perfection.
Spicy Noodles is also a favorite as is Soy Sauce Noodles and Spicy Fried Rice.
Save room for dessert, because the Mangos and Sticky Rice are simply the best. But if the Mangoes are not in season then try the Banana Flambe.
Good thing about this restaurant is that they will cater to any dietaryneed or restaiction you have. Great place for Vegans.
I have eaten here many times and tried just about everything on the menu. It is all wonderful. They use all fresh ingredients and the food tastes like it. It is by far my favorite restaurant (not just favorite Thai restaurant). Green Curry chicken is tops. The owner is always there with a smiling face either cooking or greeting guest. The owner and the others who work there are very nice and plesant people. Just an all around GREAT restaurant.
