Beach Ball Comics was established in the early eighties, with one of the largest current and back issue comic book inventories in Southern California. We've been serving our community's comic book needs in the same location for over twenty years.
Great comic shop. The other review is talking about the previous owner (shown in the photos of the shop as well, out of date images), but it has been under new ownership for awhile now. New displays, tables, register system, large section for TPB's, collectibles, toys, and busts. Well organized, nicely kept, friendly people. I have been to a few shops and I have moved away near closer shops, yet I still drive back to Anaheim weekly for my books. Again, great shop, highly recommended.
Absolutely horrible..They are thieves..They take the variant covers for comics and sell them 6x times the original price when you can find it cheaper on ebay or other places..The store smells like cigerrettes..Not much to look at. The whole store is filled with comic bins that been there for years of old comics that no-one wants to buy..One of the worse out there..The best is Comicmania (21st centruy comics) but they went out of business because one of the simpsons comic artist bought it and ran it into the ground..
