He made my wedding the most enjoyable ever. everyone loved him so much i had a few of our young guest wanting to hire him for a party. He made my night fun. He had to work hard because i need a special kind of music and he found it. if you want something fun and something to remember hire MARK . Because your DJ will either make it or break your event . One of the greatest 'all round' DJs I have ever seen at all the parties and weddings I have been to. He commands respect because of all the qualities a Top DJ should have: Great Voice (that accent helps of course), Great at making songs smoothly go from one to the next, builds crowd excitement (without that horrible cheesy typical wedding music) and had the 'know how' to make all of us dance together, from my teenage daughters to my mother! That takes some doing. DJ Mark Hix Rocks!

Mark hix is simply the best dj i have ever heard at a wedding and my guests were in full agreement. Music is the singlest most important aspect to a successful wedding and mark delivered in a huge way. From the moment we met him we felt an immediate connection to him. he has a vibrant personality with tremendous energy that suits the dj profession perfectly. that english accent does not hurt his charm either. Mark DJ'd my wedding... and it was fantastic. I've been to so many parties where the DJ tried to be "the star"... or the DJ just loved the sound of his or her own voice and spoke way too much. Not the case with Mark... he had all the right songs... and made sure that everyone had a great time. I've recommended him to all my friends and think he should be voted the Best DJ in OC!
DJ Mark Hix (the "British DJ") is incredible. I have seen him DJ many times and every time I see him, he is even more amazing than the previous time.... which is something I thought could not be possible. I don't know how much further past perfect a DJ can go. The really great thing about Mark is that, even my dad, who is very meticulous about music and has seen many DJs, also says that Mark is one the greatest DJs he has ever seen. For my dad to say this, really does make Mark Hix one of the greatest DJs in the World.... not only just in Orange County. As many other people seem to agree with us below, DJ Mark Hix is in a different league and deserves to win this competition as the best DJ.
Mark Hix DJ'd my sisters wedding at The Montage several years ago. It was far and away the most elegant and classy wedding I've ever attended. Mark was the ringleader who kept the entire pace and energy going start to finish. I don't know how in the world he did it. He introduced each and every speaker with energy, building excitement, pronouncing their names perfectly (and my last name is a struggle. How he threw a British accent on it I'll never know. It gave it an elegant sound). That entire evening, Mark segued into each upcoming event seemlessly, knowing when to fade into the background and when to be the front and center leader. The music, the energy, the pace, the class and quality Mark brought to the entire event was better than I've ever witnessed at any other wedding or event of any kind. If I ever need a DJ for anything there is only one call I'll make......HixMix baby.

you were amazing at our friend's wedding. you made the atmosphere like a cool hip party instead of some of the 'stuffy' weddings we've been to. A lot of my friends were saying how fun you made everything. we have never danced liked that at any of the other weddings we have been to in the last few years. I researched over a dozen different DJs for my wedding, including most of the other guys in this competition. DJ Mark Hix answered every question we asked and was prepared to put his personal name to his contract ensuring that it was him who would be the actual DJ. Other companies would not commit an actual DJ to us!! I felt Mark was genuinely really interested in our entire wedding and when our day came, he absolutely ROCKED THE PLACE and our guests WAY BEYOND our wildest dreams. He goes from one song to the next without any breaks or gaps and kept building the crowd excitement, which was incredible to watch, hear and dance to. Mark Hix is a very gifted DJ. He deserves to win this competition because he is the best DJ.
Mark Hix is undoubtedly one of the greatest DJs in the entire world. Not just in Orange County. He has the musical talent to mix all genres of music and always amazes me when I see him DJ.

Have know Mark Hix for over 10 years as a DJ. He did our son's wedding and made it more fun than any wedding I've been to. He is classy and really gets things exciting with lots of crowd participation. He's got a GREAT voice; an obvious choice for Number 1 DJ.
