Yum! I loved my chicken kabobs, they were perfectly cooked and nicely spiced. I really enjoyed the fautoosh...delicious! The place is quaint, has nice ambiance and fun music. I can't wait to go a second time and try something new.
Ordered out. The call was easy. Pick was ready. The food was tasty. And I really enjoyed the baklava. Between the lamb gyros and the chicken shawarma...chicken. The environment was cozy and lively - but not loud. Being there made me want to stay there. Go! Let's keep the food in OC interesting!

I'm wavering between four and five stars. This is a really cute place with a very well thought-out design.
Service is always fast, and super friendly. The management and workers are really trying to make everyone's experience fun and enjoyable. I think I have to give five stars because of the sincerity and genuineness of the management and workers--they're just that nice.
So why not five stars? I find the food to be woefully well-seasoned. Lentil soup is hot and creamy, but even I, a confirmed salt-sensitive (my mom never, ever used salt growing up) found it to be needing a little seasoning. I do really like their salads with chicken shawarma; the fattoush salad is especially good, with wonderfully crisp pita.
I'll definitely be back here, as everything tastes fresh and it's only a couple blocks away from my house, but it's not a destination spot
Chickpita is a true gem! The falafel is the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is fun. The prices are very, very reasonable, yet the food is so incredibly delicious and the ingredients are so obviously of high quality that it easily competes with (and out-does) high-end Mediterranean restaurants in OC. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Try the spinach pie (Spanakopita) and chicken Shawarma over Greek salad! The staff is one of the sweetest people I have ever met.
A few months ago we received a coupon for ChickPita...try it out and have been picking up lunch/dinner at least once a week. We really like the grape leave wrap . . . a little pricey, but yummy!

The food is fresh, tasty and the price is reasonable in this economy. My favorite is the hamburger kabob. In fact, I am hungry and I am off to go get lunch.

Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. The choices are healthy. The menu offers a lot of variety and you can really custom make your plate, such as get a half order of one main and a half of another.
