Geography is the only thing that prevents Collector's Paradise from being my weekly destination. Nevertheless, it's worth the short drive to Winnetka to see one of the best run stores in LA. Collector's Paradise has a comprehensive collection along with comics savvy connasseurs to help guide you to something for every taste.
It's extremely creator friendly with great guests flown in regularly for signings. And it's one of the more kid friendly stores as well, with an entire section of all ages material you can feel safe handing to someone under 18.
In short, Collector's Paradise is gaining a well-deserved reputation as one of LA's premiere comics shops.
The staff is amazing. They are very friendly and knowledge. They can tell you what is good and what is bad, so you don't waste your money. The store looks nice. The books are well organized and easy to find.

I LOVE Collector's Paradise!!!!
Their primary focus is on graphic novels and trade paperbacks; they still have a complete collections of monthly comics. I've seen multiple comic shops around the SFV, but none other have had the selection that Collector's Paradise has.
Have you seen the art gallery here? It's freaking AMAZING! That alone is worth the visit, plus the graphic novel selection is unbeatable especially when considering the book club discount!!

I love Colector's Paradise. The guys who work there are friendly and know comics well. They are also very well stocked and they have tons of great events there, like signings by famous comic artists and writers. I could spend hours there. The prices are good and the store is clean and well organized. Its easy to find what you want but if you can't, just ask. One of the guys knows. GREAT store!!!!!!!!
