This is the best comic book store I have ever been in, and I've been to about 6 in the San Fernando valley and 2 in Simi Valley. The people who work there are friendly and really enjoy comics themselves. So you can always chat them up about writers, artists, and characters.
The store is organized efficiently and they have deals on all graphic novels. They have a sufficient stock on all the new comic books so if you happen to come a few days later than Wednesday, they will still have what you want. They also have an online service (for free!!!) to allow you to manage your pull-file and it's constantly updated and managed.
If you love comic books, come to Collector's Paradise. It's always worth the trip.

Ed has a keen eye for my likes and dislikes and consistenly reccommends books I end up reading for years. Outstanding website and easy subscription system are just bonuses to this already great stoe.
They have all the latest comic books, graphic novels, action figures and statues, plus great prices! They have plenty on Superman!

I've been going to this shop for over a decade and the service and staff have always been top notch. Anything you need (comics related, of course) they can take care of, and they've always been pushing the envelope to bring better services and product. Their online subscription service is excellent and a highlight for me.

If you want the best deals combined with a wide selection and knowledgable service, then this is the place for you. This has been my comic buying home for quite some time now, and it is conveniently located to one of my favorite pizza joints.

I've been buying comics for more than 25 years, and this is the best and most innovative retailer of new product that I've ever seen in this business.
I have been buying all my comic books at Collectors Paradise since 1997. As I got older, I couldn't make it in every week, and so Ed and Joseph save all my comics for me based on my subscription list and some of their own recommended picks (which are usually really good). After all these years, they know my taste in comic books, and they make sure I never miss a good issue of any of my favorites or any hot new stuff. They really enjoy getting to know their customers, and they actually read the stuff they sell. Ed is always on top of comic industry news and Joseph is one of the nicest guys I know. I would have given up comic books many years ago if not for the relationship I've had with Collectors Paradise. We're lucky to have them so centrally located in the Valley.
An extremely knowledgeable staff who always take care of their customers. Whether I am looking for a new book to get into or looking for something from my youth, they always take the time to make my experiences there outstanding.
I have been coming to this store since 1997-1998. Over 10 years worth of pulls and great deals. The service has always been above all other stores i have ever shopped in. used to live in the valley and moved to south OC then long beach and i never stopped coming here. I now live back in LA and look forward to my weekly pulls. Definately the best store in LA with the best selection of new books and trades. Nothing compares. Website makes the interactivity easy to use and keep track of your list. One of their biggest fans and will always come back for more.
