In Glendale's history, Damon's Steak House is a landmark restaurant but, interestingly, the pre-restaurant Damon history includes a friend of Abraham Lincoln's, a career in the candy business and active duty in France during World War 1.
The tradition of a family business continues as the Damon family sold the landmark restaurant to the Campbell clan in January of 2005. The Campbell family is well known for operating successful restaurants throughout Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, Pasadena and Los Angeles. With a young generation of Campbells working hard in school, we hope to keep the very rich history of Damon's exciting for generations to come. As Patrick says, "We want Damon's to continue serving huge great steaks and world famous mai tai's, all of course, at reasonable prices!"
The Campbells extend an invitation to one and all to come and join the fun and enjoy a delicious and hearty meal.
Consistantly good quality steaks, perfectly cooked. Side dishes are excellent and go with the steak deliciously, like crisp green salad with slivered beets and tangy French dressing, hot garlic bread (extra), a twice-baked potato. I can eat 1/2 of my steak and potato and take the rest home for another meal and be perfectly satisfied. The price is right too. I would 100% rather have Damon's steak dinner (steak and eggs brunch is awesome too!) than to be TAKEN to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and have a subpar piece of meat. No lie.
I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DAMONS FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER! MY BROTHER'S BIRTHDAY IS ON HALLOWEEN AND EVERY YEAR AFTER TRICK-OR-TREATING IS WAS ON OUR WAY TO DAMONS!!!! THIS TRADITION STARTED BEFORE I WAS BORN AND I AM NOW 48!! THE FOOD, SERVICE AND THE HAWAIIAN STYLE WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT!!!!!

The food, ambiance and service are great. I go there frequently and have never been unhappy with the food or service. Their salad is loaded with beets, which I love. The owners are very generous with our community in donating and sponsoring events, I appreciate a business that cares about our community. Shalom.

Best damn steak and hamburger in town
Have gone there for 8 years and have never had a bad meal. Steaks are consistently good. A good Mai Tai is hard to find and Damon's is a pretty good one.

For over 25 years I've been eating there and have NEVER been disappointed! Between the Ribeyes, Fillets & Twice Baked Potato, nothing leaves you wanting...Not to mention the Incredible salad & DRINKS!
