In Glendale's history, Damon's Steak House is a landmark restaurant but, interestingly, the pre-restaurant Damon history includes a friend of Abraham Lincoln's, a career in the candy business and active duty in France during World War 1.
The tradition of a family business continues as the Damon family sold the landmark restaurant to the Campbell clan in January of 2005. The Campbell family is well known for operating successful restaurants throughout Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, Pasadena and Los Angeles. With a young generation of Campbells working hard in school, we hope to keep the very rich history of Damon's exciting for generations to come. As Patrick says, "We want Damon's to continue serving huge great steaks and world famous mai tai's, all of course, at reasonable prices!"
The Campbells extend an invitation to one and all to come and join the fun and enjoy a delicious and hearty meal.

The steaks are always juicy and cooked just right! The salad and twice baked potato are the perfect sides for the perfect meal, the good old fashioned way.

I have been going to Damon's Steak House for over 40 years, and they continue to provide the best steak dinner, as well as other excellent selections, year in and year out.

Not only is Damon's an institution recognized outside of the state of California, but it's been a SOLID community gathering place and fund-raising machine for our city. The people, the ambience and events are amazing. And the drinks are great, too!
Damon's is the absolute BEST for so many reasons--there are no pretensions here, just great food prepared to perfection, a Tiki-themed room that provides the ambience and a professional, dedicated staff all working hard to make sure you have a fabulous dining experience. On top of that you have a family-friendly crowd and of course, the extraordinary mai tais & chi-chis. The Campbell family has taken a beloved Glendale landmark and made it the ultimate LA steakhouse!
Fabulous atmosphere...a throw back to Hollywood glory days with a South Pacific theme of the 30's & 40's plus you can't beat the food & drink.
Great people and fun place.
The food is served by the most friendly waitstaff you can imagine. It is a great place for to bring the family for a great steak, great salad (especially the mango/papaya salad). Everyone feels welcome at Damons.
