In Persian language Darya means Sea. In the early 80’s one of the proprietors was gifted by a wonderful twins, one was called Darya (Sea) and the other was named Sadaf (Sea Shell). Since Darya was born fifteen minutes earlier we named our first restaurant after her. You are probably saying this is not fair to Sadaf. Since we love them both alike. We compensated her by opening the second restaurant by the name of (Darya Santa Monica) in West Los Angeles. The Twins promise you and your guest that all kabobs (chicken, fish, filet, lambs and rice ..) are charbroiled & cooked on fire after your order is taken by our servers, not before.
