Come train in the perfect environment. The Dojo's entrance-way is a traditionally-designed Japanese style garden which leads to a handcrafted dojo built in the style of a 16th century samurai mansion. Most of its furnishings are antiques direct from Japan. |
(avg rating of 7 recs) Write a recommendationI never realized a true place of training in such a traditional art was right under my nose and am so grateful every time I walk in the door.
a real, samurai house dojo full of energy and peace
the best in LA
One of the best Aikido schools. A place of true Budo.
My very favorite place in all of LA. Fantastic teachers and a disciplined, joyful, serious practice.
This dojo, directly affiliated with Aikikai Hombu Dojo, continues to teach Aikido in the manner established by its founder, the late Reverend Kensho Furuya Sensei. It has become a place to grow and develop through hard practice in an atmosphere of respect and peace.
Great people with a serious attitude toward training.
