As many have tried to imitate, always remember Manuel's El Tepeyac Cafe is truly an original Los Angeles institution (for over 50 years).
There is no other.
Totally worth waiting in line! Always the taste you know and love. And....There is MANUEL!!! Luv Him
Great giant burritos!~

Oh golly, I was delighted by El tepeyac's burritos! Worth the drive from Malibu, definitely. Absolutely Phenomenal!
I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE SINCE I WAS A LIL KID.... LOVE JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING HERE... U CANT GO WRONG WITH ANYTHING ON THERE MENU. EVERYTHING THEY MAKE IS COOKED TO PERFECTION...

Do yourself a favor and go down to ELA and have some good food
This place gets a 5 tortillas up rating
Orale - Vato man...out...10-4
So many places will try to fill their burritos with ground beef and lettuce. Tepeyac is all about the big chunks of beef or pork and real guacamole! The waitresses biceps are big for a reason. You won't feel jipped. Do yourself a favor and show up starving. The amount of food that you get will make up for feeling satiated.
I drive from Culver City, to eat here...sooo GOOD! They are great...
Have been going to "Manuels" since 1969, The Best food, the most, always friendly. People from all over go to El Tepeyac, and stand in line to eat there, that's good!
i have eaten at a lot of mexican restruants and this is the best
definately go very hungry....so yummy!
My grandfather ate here, my father ate here, in facf 97% of my entire family have eaten here since they have opened. Now, not to be partial or anything - but don't you even dare call yourself an Angelino - especially if you have never eaten at the El Tepeyac - because you would then be lying. This is what is East L.A. - and this is an institution that can never be matched for its "Manny Special." Try one if you dare, and then tell me what you think about GREATNESS!
Great large burritos...at a great price!!!
I'd drive 30 miles to eat there (and do). Best (and biggest) burritos around.
Did somebody order a Manual Special? Mmmmm good.
Tastes like home.
