Five Feet Restaurants is the most unique restaurant in Southern California. It pioneered Asian Fusion cuisine in Orange County. Exposed pipes and other industrial decor complement the eclectic menu. Traditional Chinese ingredients are enhanced by French and Californian touches: Fried wontons come stuffed with Montrachet goat cheese and drizzled with vodka-raspberry coulis. Sze Chaun Sizzling Hot Sisters, a take on sweet and sour, has chunks of lobster and prawns in gingery mushroom sauce. Another standby, kung pao chicken, is lightened up with stir-fry vegetables. The house-specialty whole catfish comes in mildly spicy tomato-ginger citrus sauce.
