I have been working as a freelance makeup artist for 10 years. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have found a career doing something that I love and have a passion for. It doesn't even feel like work!
After attending a makeup academy in '99, I immediately started working for MAC Cosmetics which I continued to do for 4 years. On my days off I worked on photo shoots, fashion shows, ad campaigns and music videos. If you check out the fashion section of my site you can see all the fun jobs I've worked on.

Carina is the most talented makeup artist I know! When she's done with your makeup, you will feel absolutely sexy and beautiful. Carina did my Engagement and Wedding pictures and I couldn't have been happier.
One half of my engagement photo shoot took place in the ocean and after an hour of getting beat down by the waves, and rubbing my eyes, my makeup still looked flawless. I couldn't believe it! I was expecting my eyelashes to have fallen off, or for my eye liner to rub, but nope! It stayed put the entire shoot!
As for the wedding, I cried several streams of happy tears, and yet my makeup still looked beautiful. Once my tears dried up, no one could tell that I was crying. I can't stress how important that is since all eyes are on you. :)

Carina is going to do my wedding make-up and from what I've seen from her work, she does an amazing job!!! She gives you that glow, rather than making you look a little cake-y and overdone. In addition to being my make-up artist, she is also my esthetician...i see her at least once a month for a microdermabrasion facial. My skin has never looked better!
Carina is by far the best in OC for skin care and makeup application for any event. I was referred to her for my wedding which took place in October. I started with her prior to for engagement photo makeup application, then for skin care. I have continued to see her as she has made a world of difference for me.

Carina was my make-up artist for both my engagement shoot and my wedding day. She did such an amazing job on me and all my bridesmaids. She even allowed for my hair stylist to set-up in her studio which made our morning of beauty stress free and a lot of fun.
