The John Anson Ford Theatres - the 1245-seat outdoor Ford Amphitheatre and the 87-seat indoor [Inside] the Ford -are nestled in the Hollywood Hills. The complex is owned and operated by the County of Los Angeles and located in a county regional park.
The Ford Amphitheatre is set against a backdrop of cypresses and chaparral. It is relatively intimate: no patron is more than 96 feet away from the stage. Music, dance, film, theatre and family events are presented May to October. The Ford Amphitheatre Season is a program of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
[Inside] the Ford hosts various theatrical events November through April.

Like a mini-Hollywood Bowl for those who don't like the crowds and who actually like to see the stage and not spend too much money. Beautiful stage and backdrop, great staff, always a good season at the Ford.
Intimate small theater setting, beautiful outdoor surroundings. Nice area for outdoor picnics. Comfortable seating arrangements. No bad viewing seating.
Great music. The best shows. Cozy private atmosphere
