Fresh Brothers Pizza, a pizza shop at 2008 N. Sepulveda, is a fresh new take on pizza. A combination of traditional Chicago pizza
with a California twist, it's unlike any other in the South Bay.
The Fresh Brothers are, in fact, brothers, Adam, Michael and Scott. Scott is
the older brother, and runs the family's four shops in Chicago.
Adam, with his wife Debbie, decided it was time to follow in the family
footsteps, here in Manhattan Beach. Scott flew in to help get things going.
“Most people have no idea how good Chicago pizza really is,” says Fresh Brother Adam. “If Mrs. O'Leary knew what passes for Chicago
pizza at most places, she'd have a cow.”
To the Fresh Brothers, deep dish pizza means a golden brown buttery crust, just the right amount of their super-secret tomato sauce, and lots and lots of mozzarella. “Nobody around here uses our kind of
cheese, and the chains won't spring for it” says to Adam. “It's the
best in the country, and made especially for pizza.”
Right alongside the deep dish pizza is the Fresh Brother's thin crust. “We cut it into squares like they do back home,” says Adam,
“and we pile on the ingredients.” Adds Scott, “you get a piece of sausage in every bite. That's the way it oughta be.”
Scott, being Chicago born and bred, is partial to sausage. “Actually,
my favorite is the Miller Pizza Special: Sausage, pepperoni, ground beef, ham
and bacon.” But they know how to keep it simple, too: “Plain cheese,
or cheese with pepperoni, or one of our specialty pies, it's all
good,” says Adam.
My wife, son and I love Fresh Bros. Pizza. We visit them every week and always after a running event. Their pizza is amazing; it has a kick to it...maybe its the sauce or the toppings but it tastes delicious when you take a bite. Their chicken wings are fantastic! Staff is very friendly, managers are so nice, knowledgeable and they take the time to talk to you at your table and ask you about the quality of the food! Our family is Gluten Free and Fresh Brothers has an amazing GF menu and their staff is knowledgeable about what it means to eat GF! The BEST Pizza and Wings on the planet!!!!

the pizza just melts in your mouth and there is a lot of flavor after each bite. each slice has the perfect amount of toppings making it even more remarkable.
Best pizza in town. Only place you can order great pizza for everyone and Mom and Dad can have a great, fresh salad, too! Really tasty and not greasy like others. Only place we order from since they moved into Manhattan Beach.

Delicious Veggie pizza!!! I could eat slices and slices!! Love giving my kids the 'special' sauce (a full serving of veggies going in under the radar!).
FB has the BEST crust on the planet. Can't wait for the MDR store opening this week!

I have no idea how this place could be the winner of last years pizza competition unless they were cheating and voting for themselves. This pizza is not good at all. Just because a place is a neighborhood pizzeria doesn't mean they are good. I would honestly rather order from Papa Johns or Pizza Hut. My pizza was overpriced, undersized and had below par ingredients. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I like Fresh Brothers because is delicious and healthy pizza. Made with very fresh ingredients. I like the thin crust the best. Also they have a great pizza for children with a vegetable sauce in it. Their salads are also delicious!
Sorry, I am not a fun of Fresh Brothers Pizza....
I ordered and went to pick it up. The pizza I ordered was a Fresh Brothers Thin Crust veggie pizza, a total of $ 23.50. I went there expecting a huge, lush and gooey pizza with a chewy crust and loads of cheese..and what did I get? a pizza so small it looked like you could buy it in the frozen section of the supermarket-
Honestly, I opened the box and said, "THIS is a large???!!" and the snotty girl with the bee hive hairdo (can you believe they're all the rage these days?) proudly proclaimed that it was. And to add insult to injury, it claimed to be CHICAGO style but had absolutely no crusty edge!! the toppings went about 1/4 inch to the flat edge..there was no folding this one in half and watching the gooey goodness slide into your mouth. The crust was thin and resembled cardboard.
I was not a fan of this place, and though I was hoping it would be worth the drive, I was disappointed.
Hopefully I'll find a better spot to cal the best pizza in Beach Cities. otherwise, it's home made from now until forever.
We visited Fresh Brothers while on Vacation from Massachusetts and will be back in the Area next month and Fresh Brothers will be our first stop!! It's that good!!!!!

easy...the pizza rocks!
Their pizza is consistently good. Everyone in our family and extended family loves their pizzas and salads! They are committed to fresh ingredients, higher quality (lower fat) cheeses, and great customer service. We use their pizzza as one of our hot lunches for our students at school on a weekly basis, too. They also throw great parties!
I love love love Fresh Brothers Pizza! It tastes (as corny as this sounds) really fresh! It's such a gourmet pizza... And they now have a gluten-free menu so there's no reason why we can't all enjoy pizza! Plus, the owners are amazing people and they have the Best customer service! I adore them! (Oh, and they sneak in vegetables into the sauce for the kiddies!)
