Frisco's Carhop Diner has been the dream of Takis Stathoulis, A Greek immigrant, vocalist, and his wife Joanne Frisco Stathoulis, a lifetime Downey resident. In 1982, they opened the first of their six restaurants creating a 1950's style diner, restoring the good old days of family dining. After years of hard work and dedication they have created a successful family business. Through Takis' and Joanne's unique and constant creative ideas, Frisco's and the "Carhops" have been world renowned and have attracted people and the media from here and abroad. They have been featured in several worldwide car magazines and newspapers, movies, commercials, music videos, TV shows, on all the major radio and television networks, cable programs, and overseas television documentaries. The "Carhops" have performed with many of the fabulous fifties performers, at fifties beach parties, various leading hotels, amusement parks, conventions, concerts, and car show events. Frisco's has the one of the largest weekly cruise nights in the nation with live concerts, featured entertainment, hundreds of custom cars and thousands of loyal cruise enthusiasts. What an adorable place.Very friendly family atmosphere.Enjoyed the live entertainment and carhop servers.Excellent food and service.I had a Mojito and it was to die for.It is a great place to bring a large group so that you can dance.5 stars for me.

Frisco's is my favorite restaurant.They have been around for almost 30 years.The new Frisco's in Long Beach California is beautiful.They have live Entertainment(3 of their rollerskating Carhops were on American Idol last year and made it to Hollywood,they sing for you ).They have a dance floor and a full bar(Pomegrante Martini's YUMMY).It is really a unique dining experience.I love their performer Tony.He gets the customers all involved with his show.The girls on rollerkates are beautiful and friendly.The food is fantastic.A plus to Frisco's.

The food is very delicious here - I recommend the patty melt & shakes. It's very family orientated and it gets crowded, especially when the car shows are there.

Classic carhop diner with fun 50's themes, girls on roller skates, delicious assorted food, low prices. Also a deli and cinema area.
