Loved the decor, however, there was a baby shower party at the table next to us with about 10 women, which completely blocked our quiet, calming atmosphere that a tea house is supposed to have. I was surprised and disappointed as I had invited my mother and a friend of hers to what I thought was going to be a nice relaxing time. As we were leaving, we walked by a separate large dining room which was empty. Our waitress told us that room was for large parties....Go figure!
Hello Gilded Rose Ladies! I am not surprised that you have been nominated! This is fantastic. Where do I begin? It's a wonderful place to relax, they are so accommodating, the tea selection is phenomenal and the gift shop is pure 100% eye candy with very affordable prices. I have never been to any other place that is so welcoming and so serene! Congratulations on your nomination!
They've been in the San Fernando Valley for years now and everytime I've had tea at the Gilded Rose, it has been a wonderful experience. It's a great place to get together with girlfriends and enjoy tea and each other. There isn't another decent tea house in the area and the service is wonderful, too!
My friends and I always make plans to meet at the Gilded Rose at least once a month, more it time permits, to catch up. It's private, tranquil, and the tea and food are delicious. I always look forward to it!

First off, there is the huge selection of teas. Second, there is the amount of food you get for your money, and the food is great! Finally, there is the atmosphere, which is perfect for a tea house.

Everything about your tea house lights my fire. As soon as you walk in, with the lovely aroma of fresh scones baking, to the tea that is served( tasting delicious, as always) , to last stop in their beautiful gift shop. It gives me such joy to experience a place as amazing as this. Thank you so much.

The Gilded Rose Manor has been a favorite place to unwind for me as well as my family for the past 3 years. As soon as I step inside, I feel like I can relax and move away from the pressures of society to enjoy a nice pot of tea amongst good food, always friendly, accomodating and knowledgeable service as well as good company of dear friends and family. This is a place to remember.
I love the ambiance. The tables are adorable with mix and match tea china. When you walk in, you feel immediately relaxed. Every time I go, the time seems to slow down. There is a great assortment of delicious teas from chocolate-vanilla Bucanneer (Black and Rooibos) to fragrant Mango green tea to soothing Vanilla rooibos. Additionally, the cream scones are warmed to perfection and are enhanced with smooth Devon cream, lemon curd and strawberry preserves. And the service-great.
I have been in the restaurant business my whole life and I truly love, The Gilded Rose Manor. When your in the Tea House you don't even feel like your in the San Fernando Valley.The amazing ambiance, fantastic service, excellent and consistent food.
My husband takes me there every Valentines Day for the most unbelievable dinner you could ever ask for. TRUE PERFECTION....
