Their food is the best. This is authentic Mexican cuisine. This is not the standard Southern California Mexican-American fair, but a true native experience. Their tamale's are exquisite!

I had read raves about the restaurant in "Latino L.A.", but I always guessed it was a little over rated. When I finally decided to find out for myself I realized it was understated; instead of chips and salsa, we were served chips and mole, how creative is that? Then when I ordered the huitlacoche quesadillas; which by the way are a rare find in the states, I knew this place was the real thing! Yet they had me at mole...love at first bite!

I have been going to Guelaguetza for the last 11 years. The food is the best and very authentic, and the atmosphere of the restaurant makes me feel like I'm in Oaxaca, Mexico. The service is always great and the music is always enjoyable. Simply the best in L.A.
