HARBOR AREA FARMERS MARKETS: Our stated purpose: “We exist to help Market communities, encourage cross-section interaction of the population, support low-income and oppressed populations, and offer a venue particularly focused on maintaining small family farms. We promise interaction with others of similar mind and development of stated purposes.” HAFM’s governing board consists of members from: South Coast Interfaith Council, First Congregational Church of Long Beach, the Community-at-large, and the participating farmers.
