I started shopping at HiDeHo in 1985 and they always had what I was looking for. When I was a kid in their shop I was treated respectfully. These days they help my kids. Thanks HiDeHo!
The customer service is top notch - whether you're a big spender or just plain curious. And the girls at the shop are like Suicide Girls - except they're approachable, useful, knowledgeable, and nice. And the guys rock, too ;)

Ohmigod! Not only is Hi De Ho the best comic book store in LA - but they have the best bowling team too!
Hands down the best comic book shop in town with pretty much every mainstream and Indie title out there, plus book and mags covering every facet of pop culture. Best of all, the coolest and friendliest staff (and customers) in town. It's like Cheers -- only with comics instead of booze!
They have sixties-style go-go chex above the front of the store and on the floor. If that doesn't make them the Best in LA I don't know what does.
And they have a fine selection of zombie merchandise!

They care and they rock. Two great things to count on when you need to get a comic book from a comic book store and then there is Sage. Good times!

Hi De Ho is a magic kingdom of comic wonders. Next to Disneyland, it is the happiest place on Earth!
They have the most knowledgeable staff in the biz!
Super quirky and knowledgeable staff, insanely good selection, and they play the best and most eclectic music. They'll even play requests! Come to fill in your collection from the fifty cent bin, or just to argue art and politics. Creative sales, great suggested reading, and mixed clientèle. They're not just in Santa Monica, they ARE Santa Monica.

Amazing staff and service, low prices, inventory ranging from the newest hot titles to the oldest pulp magazines, AND they're five blocks from the beach!
