The best shop in the city.

Family-friendly, fun, clean, bright, relaxed -- the complete opposite of some of these dank, dark, creepy cellars posing as comic shops. These guys are the best, they love what they do, and it absolutely shines through.

I've been a buyer and a guest of House of Secrets for several years now. And they have treated me and many others with respect and compassion. Where most businesses see dollar signs walking through their door, House of Secrets see a small great community of fans. And this is what seperates them from the rest. Thank you House of Secrets for the memories!

Whether you know Paul and Eric or you don't--whether you feel like gabbing about crossovers or don't, they always treat you with respect, kindness and like the friendly neighborhood shop owners you had back home. Even among a Wednesday sea of collectors, industry folks (who make a trek across town just because HOS is that cool), and other ravenous comic fans. Wherever you came from across the US, they make you feel like you never left your old, small town comics shop.

They are super friendly, have all the books I collect and they are right next to Hyaena, my favorite arts boutique as well!

They're cool, they stay open late for their loyal customers, they're really knowledgable w/ TPB's and whatever's coming out that week. Awesome store too!

They actually know stuff too, not just there to sell and take your money. They really do LOVE comics and selling them to the fans.

Considering the local competition, or lack thereof...the absolute best comic shop in the East Valley, if not the entire San Fernando Valley!

Incredible back issue selection at FAIR PRICES! That's the key - they don't gouge!

House of Secrets is run by and employs true comic book fans who love the artform and are honest about what's good reading on the racks. They'll happily recommend titles, make fun of you if your choices are horrible (but not in a snarky, normal comic book shop way) despite the loss of the sale, you'll have life-long friends if you're not careful.

The store is great to be in, full of life and color, isn't afraid of its roots, and is just a very pleasant way to empty your wallet.

Great back issue and trade paperback selection as well.

And if you're a true pop culture fanatic, you'll be baffled at the clientele here: actors, animators, comedians, artists, writers. They all flock here on new-comics Wednesday.
