Jonathan Klein's “I Said Sit!” Personalized Dog Training is a full service company helping pet dogs and their owners in Los Angeles since 1988. They are recommended by their clients, veterinarians, kennels, groomers and other trainers throughout Los Angeles. They offer group dog classes, private dog training, in-kennel and in-home boarding training as well as day care training. There is a 4000 square foot indoor training area, the only one of its kind on the west side of Los Angeles. They do not use shock collars or punishing corrections or any other confrontational methods. They do use praise, motivation, play and structured guidance as part of the training program. Dogs learn faster and enjoy this type of training program. The reason they are so successful is due to their “causative” approach to determine the best solution for each of their clients dog’s. This has the benefit of a long term solution without unwanted detrimental side effects.

Jon's a terrific, disciplined trainer. He really understands dogs-- and their humans.
He gets it that dogs that are well-behaved become happier, since they are no longer being scolded.

I had always been able to give my dogs basic training until I adopted a Brittany Spaniel, defied me every step of the way, and a puppy who turned out to be deaf. In 7 weeks with firm consistency and kindness Jonathan trained both these dogs who had very different needs, and most importantly me, successfully! Jonathan has continued to be my "go to guy" for all things dog and has become a great and dependable friend along the way. He is without a doubt in my mind a 5 star trainer.
