2008 WINNER OF OC HOTLIST'S BEST IMPROV COMEDY GROUP!! Improv Shmimprov is a late-night improv comedy show that plays every Friday and Saturday night to sold out audiences at 11:00PM at the Maverick Theater in downtown Fullerton. We take suggestions from the audience to make an all-new, totally improvised night of comedy, each and every time we take the stage. And tickets are only $5!! Many of the members of Improv Shmimprov are members of the Maverick Theater's acting compamy. I have seen them come right out of difficult theatrical roles right into Improv, without missing a beat. They are amazing.
Shmimprov always puts on a good show and hosts great challenge shows. They have a great mix of low and high brow comedy.

Improv Shmimprov is HILARIOUS!!! The group of performers are truely talented and I LOVE THEM ALL!!!!! Even on their worst night, they are all still funner than most comedy shows in the la area. One of the main reasons is because they all love improv and you can see that. We see a show and realize that they aren't doing it for the money or stage time but only because that is who they are - comedians!

These people are so amazing! They are not only some of the funniest, but also some of the nicest performers I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. They really care about and appreciate their fans! I've been following them since they were in a tiny leased room at the Block at Orange and they've only gotten better over the years. And although I'm not able to attend the show regularly any longer, I make a point of watching what they record and post on their website whenever I have the smallest bit of free time. I wouldn't do that for anything that was less than phenomenal!
Te players at Smimprov will always have rolling on the floor. They are a non-stop laugh riot. Plus they are real everyday poeple. I've had the chance to talk to alot of them after there shows and it is just like talking to old friends. A one in a million show. I recomend it to any one with a funny bone.
