I would cut 5th period at Grant HS and go have a brisket sandwich. To this day I consider my Jerry's Brisket the best comfort food around.

I used to go to Jerry's in Studio City at least once a week for their brisket open faced sandwich, since 1980. Now I still have to have my brisket and am delighted there is one in Costa Mesa. My comfort food!
