JR's Barbeque was founded in 1998 in Culver City by Jeanie Jackson and son, Bobby Johnson. With a combined restaurant experience of 52 years, we decided to bring our brand of Memphis style barbeque to our home in Los Angeles. Now our passion for delivering the best food possible is available for all of L.A. to enjoy.

This is a great place to find some good ole que. I have passed by this place for years and never stopped by. When I finally sat down and ate I was so upset at myself because it was great. The food was good, the vibe was good, and the customer service was the best. All I have to say is. "It's worth it"

The Nealy family is from my hometown, Memphis, TN, I've been eating their BBQ for years. This is the only place for real Memphis BBQ.
Their baked beans are second to none!!!
This place is Delicious...I recommend it to everyone. Not only that but the owners are the best! They actually talk to the guests, Imagine That!!!!
