La Parolaccia, in Italian, literally means "The Bad Language." In Italy, the Osteria was a modest place where friends would gather to enjoy good homemade food, great wine, and very often some "bad language" would be used. At La Parolaccia Osteria, we still serve homemade food, great wine, and occasionally bad language is heard, but strictly Italiano.

This is the best italian restaurant in Long Beach, and most likely all of California. I'm picky about my pasta, but I never worry here. Best place around. We have ended up coming here almost once a week! Molto Bene!!!!!!!
While Long Beach has quite a few Italian restaurants, the majority are American-Italian eateries. La Parolaccia, on the other hand, is authentic Italian food, on par with what I was accustomed to eating when I lived in Italy--simple cuisine, not overly saucy or smothered in cheese. Many Italians and Italian-speaking individuals are also frequent customers.
