My journey into the tea business began in 1996 at the Ritz Carlton, where I served tea to many out of town guests in small and large groups. I enjoyed the “Afternoon Tea Service” and food application, however I longed for more information about the loose leaves we were serving. Tea is worldly beyond than the one facet presented in a British Afternoon tea service and should be celebrated as such.
Fast forward to today where I am accredited through the Specialty Tea Institute Specialty Tea Institute and keep on top of leading industry information as a member. I am passionate about my craft of micro tea blending (teas and herbs blended in small batches). In my exclusive tea blends we use up to 75% or more organic components.
All of that exciting “stuff” aside, here is the most important information for our customers to know:
Our tea-blends are Hand-crafted using the finest teas, herbs, and flowers and blended in Micro-batches. Using organic components when possible and available. Each exclusive blend is at least 75% organic components.
We are passionate about tea. We use what we sell and sell what we use. You can come into the stores to see your tea blended and packed into the bag or tin of your choice. We know our gifts and tea accoutrements work, we use them ourselves and can make recommendations for your tea needs.
We have exceptional personal service and ship all over the U.S and sometimes beyond. Call or email us if you have a special request, as we have ability to customize small 4 cup – clear lidded tins of tea, we gift wrap for free, and more. Never tried us? Customized Orders: Allow us to customize your wedding or corporate gift on the bottom of our 4 cup sampler tins. The lid is clear and loose tea is an affordable luxury with high perceived value to the recipient.
We are hands on in our business and our CommuniTea. Many of our tea tins feature the art-works of our local artists. We also offer Tea Talks in house to teach about the benefits of tea and a blending demonstration of your custom tea blend. Call Desiree today: 949 374 7552
Fund-raising and donations in our CommuniTea program: You organize the in-office or in-store fund-raiser and we will donate a percentage of sales of at least 15% to your office/corporate cause. This can be done online too, no need to be local. For an example click here. We also work with our schools and libraries in the area and offer a “Certificate of Excellence” valid toward a healthy tea beverage in-store. (Such as a Textured TeaSe). Church and non-profits may apply for our CommuniTea Tea Meeting program where we donate the Tea to your function.
Tea Clubs: Samples shipped monthly or 3 to 6 tins shipped quarterly.
LoyalTea Card Earn 10% back in the store. Any purchases over $100 you automatically receive a card. Online orders over $100 please email for your virtual certificate.
Wholesale Tea Programs: Inquire with Desiree for Information. Email desiree@lavenderloungetea.com with a description of your high-end boutique or restaurant to apply for wholesale discount online or your own custom-fax-order form.

They are so helpful and have such a wonderful variety of teas. I was looking for a gift for an 80-year-old woman and they helped me chose just the right tea. She loved her gift. They even wrapped it for me. Plus they gave me really fun samples to take home and try. Love this place!
