Only minutes from downtown Los Angeles and just over the Los Angeles River, this gorgeous event facility will fit many a bride’s idea of the dream wedding location. The Center is a hidden jewel, sequestered behind thick, ivy covered walls. A wide, circular brick driveway with a spreading ficus tree in the center marks the entrance, and through the arched, wrought-iron gate you get your first glimpse of the fountains, flowers and serenity inside.

The gardens were well kept with exotic plants that make you feel like you were somewhere than in the middle of Los Angeles. The place has a magical feel of a secret garden. You won't regret having your event held at the LA River Center and Gardens
The LA River Center and Gardens will always be the magical place that created our beautiful wedding day. The lush gardens made it feel like we were all over the world. From the Spanish style structures to the tropical greenery, our pictures came out amazing. We were also able to include our dog and bird in the wedding, which many other facilities don't allow. You will not regret having your event held at the LA River Center and Gardens.
The River Center is the best because of its beautiful gardens, Fountains and buildings.
The venue is awesome. My husband and I had been looking for places and he kept turning down every place we looked at until we walked on to the grounds. As soon as we walked through the gate he said " this is it." You don't have to leave the venue for anything you can have your ceremony there in or outdoors, your reception in or outdoors and all of you wedding photos. You will not be disappointed. The grounds are gorgeous I got compliment after compliment about how beautiful the venue was.
My fiance and I are planning to have our wedding there on February 2, 2008. We were planning on having our wedding in India, but things fell through and we wanted to find a place that brought a little of India to us. When we came across this venue we instantly fell in love; the main courtyard had an exotic appeal that reminded my fiance of the lush backwaters of Kerala, his home. I felt like I was in a secret garden.
Very friendly staff. Nice place for a romantic wedding. Large area available for a very cheap price. Looked around city and nothing compared to the Los Angeles River and Gardens!

It was the first venue my wife and I visited and fell in love with the gardens, the water fountains, the trees, the indoor facility, the accommodations, and the best customer service and communication in planning the event from Zenia the event coordinator at the venue.
It is absolutely gorgeous!! I can't wait to get married there on June 20, 2008!
