Main Street Players is a Non-Profit Community Theater Program designed to provide stage experience to youth, children and adults in our local community. Our Goal is to provide opportunities for youth, children and adults in a professional musical theater setting and to provide first class musical theater at reasonable prices to the people of Orange County and all of Southern California. All of our shows have live orchestras, professional direction and choreography. Our audiences come from all over Orange, San Diego, and L. A. Counties as do our casts. Our audiences run from 2500 to 3000 people a year and include people from all ages, children to seniors. We have been in downtown Santa Ana for over 25 years and feel this is a unique and valuable Arts program in this community. We encourage children to be in our casts and our audiences. The experience they receive is invaluable in their ability to communicate and interact with adults and be poised in front of groups. We also teach them to sing and dance and all phases of putting a show in production.These experiences also lead to an appreciation of the arts and they learn the importance of discipline and hard work.
