Bistro atmosphere but five star cuisine and service. Always a treat and the pastries are fabulous!
Florent is the best chef in the OC. He keeps it interesting with a nod towards fusion, yet unpretentious and accessible. Amelia's desserts start with the freshest and best ingredients out there and are as beautiful as they are delicious. They both radiate warmth & happiness!
never, ever a bad meal. Perfection and art in every bite, wonderful flavors, fine service..all for a darn good price!!
I took my mom to Marche Moderne for a nice lunch......Man, was I impressed! First of all, it is a BEAUTIFUL restaurant, it is on the third floor of South Coast Plaza, we sat outside and it didnt' feel like we were in a mall, it felt like we were on a beautiful rustic patio! The service was wonderful, I intentionally asked many questions about the menu, as I am new to French Cuisine, and the server was very helpful with the description of the cuisine and she had fantastic recommendations!
Again, this restaurant was gorgeous and I definitely had a memorable dining experience! I work in the hospitality field and I know good establishments when I see it! Bravo to Marche Moderne!
