In August of 1995, Memphis opened its doors and began to create a buzz. Regulars would bring friends. Their friends would bring more friends and the word was spreading slowly throughout Orange County. The real boost came on November 5th, 1995 when S. Irene Virbilla, of the Los Angeles Times Magazine (Sundays), did a full review of Memphis complete with pictures and very favorable remarks - she loved it. By Monday morning, our voice mail box was full and the phone has continued to ring off the hook. The buzz had spread throughout Southern California. People came from everywhere, reservations were needed and the kitchen was in full swing.

One of the best places in costa mesa! The people are friendly and fun. the food is amazing. Homecooking with a modern influence of flavors and pairings. Your won't leave filling empty in your stomach and wallet!
