A whole new adventure in cafes is now available to residents and visitors to Huntington Beach. In the winter of 2006, Monkey House Café opened its doors under entrepreneurs of Angeli Poon, her daughter, Rochelle and Rochelle’s husband, Dan. The family owned and run operation brings the trio’s complementary career experiences together: Angeli, providing a strong business background in hotel management, digital media advertising, retail and designing, Rochelle, holding a degree in Restaurant Management and Culinary Art from the University of Nevada and Dan, being a restaurateur with years of experience in the food industry. The idea for the café developed out of love and passion for a warm and cozy place for everyone to come and hang out with good coffee, delicious snacks, great foods and of course, Rochelle’s love of monkeys. When it comes to feeding time, Monkey House Café doesn’t monkey around. Whether it’s an expertly crafted latte or cappuccino, a freshly blended fruit smoothie, one of our many specialty sandwiches or scrumptious desserts, the House has you covered and rest assured that this isn’t your ordinary monkey business!

Love going to the monkey house
Monkey house is the place to be. The atmosphere is nice and you feel like in a jungle, the food is excelent and so is their coffee and smoothies and you will have a lot of fun.
This place is fantastic. All of the food is incredible, sandwiches make my mouth water just thinking about them now. Coffee drinks that will satisfy your taste buds. Funky Monkey my fave. On a hot day a smoothie hits the spot. The staff all so nice and friendly. I love this place
I love this place! They have yummy food and drinks that you don't feel guilty about having. It's easy to keep myself eating healthy with the choices they offer.

GREAT PLACE! Very warm, friendly, and welcoming! Service and food are excellant and not over-priced! Atmosphere is awesome, with all the monkey 'stuff', you can't help but smile! I do every time I go! Staff is terrific - recommend this to any one! You have to see it for yourself!
Monkey house is the place to go. My friend took me for lunch after school and I have been going there ever since. They have the best sandwiches and smoothies at reasonable prices. It's a great deal for college student like myself. I also love the workers there, very friendly and great customer service unlike starbucks.

The Monkey House isn't just a Caf'e, you can lounge in their comfortable chairs, get your favorite drink, "Just as good or even better than Starbucks".
My husband made the mistake of inviting me to go with him one day as he has tea there every afternoon. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff very much. I even had a chance to shop in their gift shop and made it very easy for my husband to get me my Christmas gift at the same time. They have some very lovely items for sale and even the children will love just walking around . It's hard to leave without buying more than just a coffee or tea.
I recommend them highly, they put their customers first and repeat customers feel like friends.

I was first introduced to the Monkey House about 4 months ago as a place where I could go for my afternoon tea. It has a very pleasant setting and friendly staff that offers great service. They also make great sandwiches. Lots of places to sit..
I highly recommend it.
