I took the most lovely lass here on her birthday, Teri, she tried oysters on the half shell for the first time - and she Liked Them!! The scallops where out of this world as well, as was the black cod (I ordered) and the crab ravioli (the lovely Teri had) - it was a truly romantic evening and everyone there was great.

Definitely the most romantic restaurant in Malibu. Try to go when the moon is full and get a seating on the patio. The glistening of the ocean is mesmerizing.

Moonshadows to me,is the best and most romantic resturant in the country. The friendly and courteous service is second to none. Great food,exceptional prices that won't leave you bankrupt.and views that are just breath-taking.I strongly recomment Moonshadows resturant & blue lounge to anyone who is looking to be treated like royality for the evening. i was in moonshadow in january and i loved it. my friend and i had driven up from san diego and we spent the afternoon lounging on the deck while we waited for a table outside. we loved every minute and our drinks and food were excellant. we live in louisville ky. but we will come back every chance we get. YOU HAVE OUR VOTE.
Since my husband, Mark Osterloh, introduced me to Moonshadows over 25 years ago, we have been celebrating special occasions at Moonshadows. We love the food, ambience, and staff of the restaurant.

I love food and the atmosphere at this restaurant....casual, but not too casual and always lots of interesting people and good music in the lounge area.
Went there on a date early in my relationship, proposed to my wife there and try to go there for our Anniversary. We have been going there for over 20 years.
