At Native Foods we have fused ethnic cuisine and healthy cooking to offer you bright colors, full flavors, and great textures in a quick service, stylish, fresh and fun way. Our menu concept unites both the vegetarian and the traditional diner, and in doing so we specialize in introducing alternative tasty textures, which include tempeh and seitan. These foods have ancient origins and are an artisan craft in their making; which we do from scratch. Our talent is in artfully exceeding one’s expectations of vegetarian cuisine. Wishing you a prosperous lifestyle in harmony with the balance of nature and its energy through the wonders of food.

The ambience here is fantastic - sort of a rustic "commune" vibe in Costa Mesa's The Camp. The food is also delicious. The menu is not limited; not as inventive as other veggie places. Most of their bowls are the exact same bowl with different sauce. The "Rockin' Morrocan" is by far the best.

What has made me avoid this restaurant ever since my second visit are the EXTREMELY HIGH PRICES. They are OUTRAGEOUS. I spent over $15 on lunch for a veggie bowl and a drink. My husband and I went for dinner with a friend and our bill was over $40 for 3 items. WE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!! The prices are ridiculous for a cafe/food-food-style place... Maybe its the rent? We've since switched to another vegetarian restaurant in Fountain Valley where you can get twice as much for 1/3 the price. I wish the owners of Native Foods would lower their prices so the average diner can enjoy their menu without breaking the bank with such high prices... Especially since its marketed as a casual walk-in cafe.
