Barbecue King started out as the brainchild of Rod Daniels, using many of the recipes handed down to him by his mother, Lois Daniels. It was her Texas background and special family recipes that provided the basis for all of the food we make and the way we "slow walk" our meat. We take pride in preparing and serving such food to our customers.

Its funny how when people want to relate barbecue to something great - they always seem to relate it to Texas. Okay, so Texas is good, that I will admit, but some of the best restaurants to eat barbecue food are definately not in Texas, and this is one - though it might carry the name - they definately have the fame, and they know how to use the flame, so they definately win the game.
