You can tell just from the looks of Paul's that this is the kind of bar that your grandfather and your grandfather's grandfather probably frequented in their day. The interior looks kind of like the recreation room of a Moose Lodge: lots of wood, a sprawling bar with attentive bartenders who are more than happy to make small talk and a pool table that's seen better days. But because drinks are cheap and there's a high kitsch factor, this bar is a standout among the 6AM-2AM drinking establishments in Orange County. Guest DJs or girls dancing on table tops. Paul's is a no-frills dive, but with '70s-era Americana -- kind of like a dive where you would find Archie Bunker sharing a pitcher with the boys.

Included with all That, they have 3 pool tables, a dart board area, Internet Jukebox, & a bacl patio where You can sip a drink & enjoy Your cigarette. Plenty of TV's to catch Your Favorite Sports. From the "Breakfast Club", through the afternoon "Just Got Off & Need a Good Drink" group to the Nightime Crowd from Chapman University the People All Rock!!!
I Myself have been a Patron & Employee for over 20yrs & all I can say is Paul's is kinda like Orange. Small Little Spot on the Map with the Best Environment. There have been Many changes over the years, but, the Core of Paul's remains the same.
Simply put, Paul's is The Best. & to Mike, the owner, Tish, Ian, Laura, Jt, Lanesha, Brenda, Eva, & ALL The Security, I just wanna say Thank You for a Little Slice of Home & being My Home away from Home!

In all seriousness, it's a relaxed atmosphere with peopel who are there to have some drinks and have a good time, not show off or get into fights. It's the kind of place you can jostle a stranger and odds are they'll turn around with a smile and say hello.
I grew up in the city of Orange and have made many friends there over the years. It has a relaxed atmosphere and is a place where many of us that grew up in the city have chosen to go when in need of an "adult beverage" to either catch up or meet new people.

From early morning with the "breakfast clubers" to the late birds at night it is truly the best dive bar in Orange County. It has a Cheers feeling with the regulars that are always recognized and treated with friendship as well as newcomers cheerfully welcomed. Thanks for the memories Pauls! paul's rocks!! i have a great time every time. i even have my coworkers now going to paul's at least once a week. there is always something going on at paul's. the bartenders, they are the BEST!!! and the owner, well he isn't to bad either!!! i would recomemmend paul's any day of the week. especially wednesday through sunday mornings,brad is the morning bartender and he makes THE best bloodymarys. Rock on Paul's!!!!
Brad and the crew are great. Punks, bikers, rockabilly types, college jocks, old towne locals.... You got it all coexisting for a great time. Mellow atmosphere, decent priced drinks. See you there!
