Pink's is probably the most famous hot dog stand in the country... certainly in Los Angeles! Located near the corner of Melrose and La Brea, Pink's can be found by looking for a crowd of people and following the aroma of fresh meaty chili and soft hot dog buns. Pink's is unlike any other hot dog stand in America. For example, it has its own parking lot attendant (parking is free). It has been in the same location for 68 years. It is not unusual to see a Rolls Royce pull up to Pink's (the chili dog ordered will be for the occupant, not the chauffeur!). Movie stars, well-known dignitaries, struggling musicians, businessmen, housewives, school children... all have savored Pink's Famous Chili Dogs.

My stepdad starting taking me to Pink's when I was a little girl. Now that I am older and have a son I love taking him.
Okay - simply said - who can compare with a National Institution as Pink's, who have been featured in more movies, news reels, and printed articles. You do not continue to write about the best, if it does not continue to remain the best - and the best in the world they are. If you haven't tried their chili dogs - you're missing out, but if you haven't tried their Pastrimi Dog or any of their other mouth-watering specialties - then you're missing out - they are #1.

I take great pride in traveling The United States to write my critiques on the best restaurants. I am proud to say that Pinks is the Best Hot Dog in Los Angeles and came in second place( just after Nathan's) for The Best Hot Dog in The Continental United States.

The chili dogs are great but the Guadalajara dog with no relish is great! You get a chance to really taste the flavor of the hot dog which is very tasty.

Pink's is a landmark and if you go and eat there you will see why. I love the chili dogs, chili fries and onion rings but so does everyone else. Go and eat, but again there are really long lines, so go early or be ready to wait.
Always great....early, late & any time in-between!! Even the ever present lines add to the experience!!!
It's the only place where my 14 year old twins can order a double bacon chili cheeseburger that they like pinks rocks!
They have the best hot dogs you can imagine and if they don't have it they will make it for you, you are the chef. Love it!
There's Pink's and then there's everybody else...

You may have to wait for a really long time in line to get the best tasting dog the city has to offer, but that's alright with me. I'll wait as long as it takes to get me one of these dogs. They're the best.
