As one of the largest vintage stores in the Los Angeles, Playclothes offers a huge selection of quality vintage merchandise.
They have the best vintage fashions and accessories from
every decade. They are reasonably priced, well organized and the store is packed with great merch. The stylist from MadMen gets a lot of their fashions from Playclothes.

Playclothes is about as authentic a vintage shop as you can get. Its not one of those psuedo thirft store / may-or-may not be authentic vintage / overly priced hollywood shops. Everything in there (except the employees) is older than you! From suits, shirts and dresses, draperies, hair pins and handkerchiefs, to kitchenware and knick knacks...Playclothes has something from almost every decade over the last half century (and is labeled as such!). Their inventory is constantly rotating so even if you think you've combed their catalog more than a greaser at the drive in, more clothes are coming in faster than new trends are going out. I bought the baddest leather bomber jacket which I never thought I'd own from Playclothes, but it just went with my mustache way to well so I had to go for it. It was very affordable too ($150). Oh yeah, I've seen celebrities there too...cool ones, not lame ones.
Some of the most knowledgable and friendly people work there, and you can spend a whole day and still not see everything they have to offer! A must for all residents and visitors!
Well, this is by far the best day job I've ever had!!! We got the goods babies. Best vintage in town and all around. Best boss, manager and co workers. Your imagination will be set ablaze with the abundance of goodies and a vibe that is set immediately as you take two steps to the corner of Kraft and Moorpark.

Playclothes is the BEST! What a fun, funky place to spend an afternoon! You can find just about anything there and the owner, Wanda, and her staff are fabulous! Go there!
I love that their clothing is very well cared for and tagged according to era. Plus, the people who work there are incredible nice and fun. The store is clean and nicely decorated and they have a fun selection of accessories and even a few home furnishings. It's just a fun place to visit.
