The Professional Drum Shop was founded in 1959 by Bob Yeager with Chuck Molinari in an effort to provide the professional drummer with a place to get needed equipment repairs and shopping convenience. Throughout the years, the Shop has been promoted on the road by many of Yeager's friends. Names like Art Blakey, Louie Bellson, Buddy Rich, Joe Morello, Shelly Manne, Elvin Jones, Gene Krupa, Ray Bauduc, Max Roach, and others.

Pro Drum is by far the best drum shop in Los Angeles and the West coast. Actually, they're probably the best drum shop in North America. Stan and Jerry are second to none for customer service. They're drum guys, not greasy "box store" salesmen or weekend warrior musicians. They'll sell you what you need at great prices and fix it when it's broke.

Ran by great guys who are "Professionals". They are helpful and show my son which items are the right fit for his drum kit. They are in a great location and easy to get in and out of. The store is Thick with history with old photos of legendary drummers. And - they love the Dodgers!

Family owned and operated before you were even born! These guys have the best selection and prices ANYWHERE! They could open a second store just for the history alone with a client list of the latest and greatest drummers. You name them they shop here.

I've been dealing with Stan & Jerry at the pro shop for years, they have excellent service and they always make you feel right at home, from beginner to the working pro, they always make time to help get you what you need.Stan is one heck of a repair guy when it comes to drums, they're the best in the business!

Not only is this shop family owned and operated, it is a part of LA History. It's been around a long time, run by professionals that know their stuff. It's a shop for real musicians looking for professional equipment from knowledgeable and simply pleasant people. It's a great shop.
Pro drum has been a well know name in the music business since it first opened. They have the best selection so you can always find what you are looking for. Also it is all family run which in my opinion you can't get better customer service. My hats off to pro Drum. Thanks guys

In a world full of the conglomerate super store, The Professional Drum Shop in Hollywood is a true throw back to the community drum shops of the day. Don't even think about taking your vintage Ludwig kit to a mall to get it worked on. At Pro drums, they can and will fix anything! This store isn't just the go to stop of every working drummer in the city, it's a Hollywood landmark!
