Originally launched in 2005 as a series of monthly art-centric events, project: quickly became recognized as one of the premier places to discover new artistic talent. Voted by readers of the LA Alt Press as "The Best Gallery of 2006," project: openings quickly became a must attend event on the art scene. Striving for more, project: has evolved to become more than just another "art party" and is setting up to take LA by storm. With a series of openings showcasing both nationally recognized and breakout emerging artists, project: will be setting the standard for affordable contemporary pop art. Founded by Beau Basse and Michael Siegel, project: is designed to be a gallery where even the most novice of art collectors can feel comfortable and where the most exciting young artists will be able to showcase their energy, spirit and artwork. project: re-launches January 2007 as the new kid on the block in Los Angeles' prestigious Culver City Arts District.
