Founded in 1997, the award-winning Sacred Fools Theatre Company is dedicated to creating theatre that invigorates, enlightens and entertains, in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere. We are one of the most prolific theatre companies in Los Angeles, perhaps in the world. In just over ten years, Sacred Fools has produced over 100 full productions, as well as countless other projects. We have won 33 local theatre awards, as well as 36 Honorable Mentions and 73 further nominations.

I first walked in the door at the Fools 11 years ago and haven't looked back. An abundance of eclectic, theatrical, fun work and a supportive community of artists and friends.
I didn't expect to enjoy a country-western musical, but I did! And to have a season that goes from country music to Oingo Boingo... these people are CRAZY! In a good way.
They're daring, fun, challenging, have a depth and breadth of talent that's breath-quaking and mind-staggering PLUS the best late-night shows within the infinite galaxies.
they do great shows and they're real talented and their comedy is funny and their tragedy is sad and their musicals are catchy and their company members are SUPER HOT

Sacred Fools had grown into one of the most dynamic and talented companies in the city. Their mainstage shows are marvelous, sharp, and top-notch and their late-night and alt-night programing ranges from hilarious to the downright weird. Well worth the time and the tix are always reasonably priced!
