The San Pedro Brewing Company is owned and operated by James Brown. James opened the restaurant in November 1999, after four months of construction to expand the former John T's Tavern, which had been in operation from the early 1990's until its closure in 1998. The restaurant features great food, fresh ales and lagers brewed on the premises, live entertainment weekly, the finest in spirits, a kids menu, catering and party facilities, and the friendliest staff in San Pedro! The San Pedro Brewing Company is owned & operated by my great buddy James Brown. He opened it in November ‘99 on the former John T's Tavern site. The highlights of this place are the Sports Bar feel, nice TV coverage on flat screens, (JB is a devoted Bruins fan, but very friendly to Trojan supporters; he even has a Trojan Beer!), great evening bands but best of all the fresh brewed Ales & Beers. (I own a nearby bar & restaurant, so if I say they’re good, then you know I mean it). These are brewed on the premises, with love & care. There is live entertainment weekly, a full bar, kids menu, catering & party facilities.

Great beers and a very nice atmosphere. There is even an outside area where you can eat, drink and smoke. If you love UCLA then this is also the place to be.
Not only is the beer they make here killer as well as award-winning, the food is OFF THE HOOK!!! Love the tri-tip sandwiches and the sausage mac and cheese!! Now THAT'S pub fare!!
