Sally Waranch knows as much about life downtown as anyone this side of Petula Clark. She opened a commercial art gallery in the heart of Fullerton 20 years ago, and now she's moved the business to Anaheim's reborn downtown. By the measure of foot traffic, Anaheim's still-redeveloping downtown is making significant strides. The area has been decades in the remaking, but now that they're building it, people are coming. To Waranch this new downtown feels like home. "I was sad to leave my old space on the Birch Street Promenade" Waranch said. "But the people here really seem to appreciate the arts. We've met a lot of new collectors who were just walking by and were moved by what they saw." Art has been moving Waranch for as long as she can remember. It led her to abandon an acting career in 1987. She had just adopted the stage name Sarah Bain and the gallery has held that moniker ever since.

This gallery is absolutely FANTASTIC. Well, not really, but it is good. It's worthy of my vote. I went here earlier this year and liked the artwork and the overall environment around the place. Since the voting closed before I could actually vote for the Sarah Bain Gallery, I am voting for it in spirt and writing this review to make up for it and get some extra credit.

Every art work in the gallery was unique, and the collection had a wide variety of artworks. Because the art gallery is smaller than museums, it is easier to enjoy the paintings in a more homely setting. It's an awesome place to learn to appreciate art.

I'm not a professional art analyst and I'm definitely nothing close to a critic (my teacher'll tell you that much), but this art seems to draw me in. If anybody wants to enjoy a day kicking it back and looking at some art without putting a strain on themselves, stop by.

Vote: Yes

I love the variety of different pieces that
come to the sarah bain gallery.
The gallery is small, and there are not as many
pieces as the ghettyyyy orr Norton Simon haha
but it makes each piecee
even more special and unique.

heart wrenching passion and groundbreaking vision
yup, for extra credit but this artwork looks very interesting

that's gotta be worth some points

This gallery is a must see! The gallery itself is not as big as a museum but it has works of art fit to be in one. Everyone should visit the gallery at least once, and learn about the new rising artists of the future.

I've been lucky to be able to visit this gallery in both its brea and anaheim locations. They always have insteresting art by up and coming artists. The owner and her staff are kind and always willing to discuss pieces and share their knowledge. This gallery is a great source of culture for the community.
