An eclectic gift shop in Silver Lake's Sunset Junction neighborhood, Serifos has been open 7+ years and led the renaissance the Sunset Junction from gang bangers into hipster central. But the reason Serifos has lasted and the reason I am talking them up is that they are the GREATEST gift shop in the world. I buy all my gifts there because I can always find the perfect gift at the perfect price regardless whether it is for my friend, my grandma or a baby shower even. And they gift wrap (beautifully). And they have the BEST customer service in town. Donna the owner is a jewelry designer and her jewelry line "Suzette" is fabulous - local actors are always wearing it to awards shows. Anyway, Donna and Serifos really deserve a mention because they are exactly what a cool independent shop should be.
