Slow...Children at Play was founded by actor and director Tim Simek in late 1997. Wanting a more consistent creative outlet, Simek started a comedy troupe of his own. Simek and several actors rehearsed in his Hollywood apartment for a few months while developing the troupe. The group began performing in 1998 and continues to produce fun, creative and high energy shows in North Hollywood. S...CAP performs short form improv along with periodic sketches, character pieces and video shorts. The comedy group is in demand for corporate functions, team building seminars and private parties. They also offer a 12 week improv intensive at their NoHo theatre which includes a performance showcase at the end of the session. S...CAP will celebrate 10 seasons with their anniversary show on Saturday, October 25, 2008 beginning at 8pm in North Hollywood. Go to the website for more show info!!

Love the concept! Have only seen clips online, but I know 2 of the cast members, and they are wonderful people. I wish this troupe all the best in the world!
Tim Simek is an outstanding director and has a talented, extremely funny cast. This group is hilarious and Mr. Simek is easy on the eyes. What's not to love?

Fabulous improv group! Always evolving and changing with the seasons and the talent pool. Wonderfully directed and moderated by Tim Simek. Our faces always hurt from laughing when we come home after a show. Great stuff!
I have attended their shows for 10 years and the troop is AWESOME!!! They are crying, rolling on the floor HILARIOUS! Tim has done a fantastic job with these talented artists. You HAVE to go see the show!!!! Laughter is medicine for the SOUL!!!
